Dinosaurs in the mountains, Arcosauria El Hoyo Theme Park
Surrounded by trees and fruit trees, dinosaurs that inhabited Patagonia defy the landscape, framed by the cordon of the Piltriquitrón and Pirque hills. Ideal for children to see dinosaurs, mammoths, among other animals from the Mesozoic and Pleistocene, up close and enjoy learning.
Near the center of El Hoyo, in the Arcosauria Theme Park, life-size sculptures of prehistoric animals – the result of enormous artistic work – interact with a characteristic farm, with teros and bandurrias, among other birds. With specific spaces for the children to draw and continue learning, a sample of local embalmed birds, the park is ideal for walking and educating as a family.
Once you enter the park, the reporting service offers detailed information about the place and brings them closer to the path that leads visitors through a pleasant photographic walk, capturing their emotions and those of their own, bringing an experience that will attract attention whoever sees it. At the end of a pleasant rest in the shade of a leafy weeping willow and do not forget to stop by to see the room where you will find a sample of taxidermy birds and the only petite albino rhea on display in the world.

The tour is guided, lasting approximately two hours. During the visit, information on the geological past of Patagonia is combined, recreational resources such as the possibility of touching the sculptures and taking photos, also relating the extinct species with stories that led to exploration, legends and entertaining anecdotes.
The visit is outdoors in a closed area, there is also the natural history room where a collection of native and exotic birds is on display.
