CHARACTERISTICS

Comodoro Rivadavia, located on the banks of the San Jorge Gulf, is the largest city in Southern Patagonia. Due to its strategic location, its connectivity and its offer of services, it is the gateway to a wide range of attractions; with modern hotels and gastronomic establishments that provide excellent quality services, travel agencies, both receptive and emissive, and a complete service of land and air transport. In addition, it offers nightly entertainment places such as casino, pubs and discos; likewise, museums related to oil and paleontological activity, such as different tourist attractions.
Comodoro Rivadavia is the most important urban and economic center of Central Patagonia, features that make it an excellent reception point within Patagonia.

Oil is its main economic activity and its exploitation fields supply an important percentage of national consumption, for this reason today it is known as the National Capital of Petroleum.

LOCATION

Comodoro Rivadavia is located to the Southeast of the Province of Chubut, in the central area of the San Jorge Basin, between Pampa Salamanca to the North, Pampa del Castillo to the West and Meseta Espinosa to the south.
