Corcovado

CHARACTERISTICS

Corcovado is the mecca of salmon fishermen. It is located on the Corcovado River, at the foot of the Andes Mountains and very close to Route 40.

It is a small town located south of Esquel and Trevelin, where the Andean forests begin to replace the steppe.
It is a great salmon fishmonger and an ideal place for rafting.

LOCATION

The town of Corcovado is located in a Valley, known as the “Valley of the Stooges” 100 km southwest of Esquel, the closest towns are: Tecka 80 km, Trevelin 64 km, Carrenleufu 25 km and Rio Pico at 100Km. The access routes are the Provincial Route. No. 44 and Provincial Route No. 17.
